I love computers. I always have. Back in the early 1990's when I was a young teen, I had a computer in my room, and I have ever since.
I love tweaking things. LOVE it. My iGoogle has three tabs worth of gadgets and feeds. I build computers for myself, family, and friends. When at all possible, they have lights and windows and doodads. I always customize everything I can get my hands on.
I love to learn. This, of course, extends doubly to computer related things. HTML? Taught myself ten years ago. I had a webpage back when Geocities had "neighborhoods" and wasn't a horrible hosting option. CSS? As soon as I found out how flexible it is, I picked up a few books and started wrestling with it. PHP and MySQL also found their way onto my bookshelf, and I bludgeoned my way into using databases for websites like Clan Stoneclamber
I'm an artsy fartsy sort of person. When I was little, my primary fun was had with cardboard, tape, and string. Getting older, I made custom trading card game deck boxes out of that blessed craft supply cardboard. I draw, I write, I sculpt.
I grew up in Southern California, but when I moved out to Eastern Tennessee, I found my heart. This place has my heart! It's so beautiful to be surrounded by lush, green wooded mountains. I plan to post photos as soon as possible.
Kappas... kappas are a very strange subject, to be honest. But they have a lovely little place in my heart, so my world is called "kappalachia."
